Just thought I'd update this after chatting with few of you at six hills yesterday (yes my sleep pattern is messed up). Will be getting new camera in few days so will give the car a clean up then and get some good pictures. Right well other day I fitted the uprated anti-roll bars all round. Set the fronts to stiffest (of 2) and rear to the middle (of 3). Car handles awesome now! Really flat through the corners with so little body roll. Also took out the black roll bar I had and replaced it with a harness bar/cockpit brace. Car feels a lot tighter now. Next I've got to fit the braided brake lines and then sort out painting wheels and calipers. Gona try tidy it up a bit for the summer so it at least looks well kept (once the hardtops off )

When you were following yesterday I definately noticed how flat you were through the corners, when I felt like I was on a boat lol

Haha yeah they definately help Only problem with that though is it's harder to tell how fast you're cornering and how close you are to the tyres loosing grip. Tbh though so far the loss of grip would be at speeds I'm not happy testing at on the public roads Also in the wet it seems to understeer slightly which is nice as gives me that little bit of warning that it might snap out! Sorry for my bright light blinding you on the way back to loughborough h4mm1! I think I'll try lowering them a bit more as, althought they are ok on standard height cars, when behind your mx5 I could see that when I got close they were blinding you a fair bit. O and start writing that shopping list of parts you want off me

Tried to make some progress on the car today but didn't get much time before dark (I'm a lazy student). I did get a chance to grab a few pictures of some of what I've done with the new camera. Batmobile Begins The Wheel Centre Caps I sprayed satin black (Same colour wheels going) and then stuck the logo's onto Also Painted the front brake calipers and disc centres with hammerite satin black and started on the front alloys prep work. Any comments welcome! Let me know what you think to the batman theme too as I mainly went with it as the logo goes with my colour theme and the car looks a bit batmobile-esque from the front

Right more of the marmite mods as the batman theme continues Only got round to doing the front so far. I really rushed them so the finish isn't great as I didnt flat it back between coats. Also the masking wasn't great but they look ok from a far and were only supposed to be a quick fix for cheap (so I wasn't still running around on primer wheels!) These pictures show up how badly I need the front splitter painted and the car needs a clean Tbh though when I clean it I blacken the front lip and it's a pretty good match! Again Comments welcome and will update as soon as I get more progress/photos.

Hey all, Well it was a nice sunny day and I was supposed to be doing coursework so I thought I'd try mount the Spy cam I bough off ebay ([you] One like this.[/you]) on my car for a proper test. For those of you who checked out the previous videos, it was on my tow hook (on it's side!) so this is a much better test with it actually up right. I used Heavy Duty Velcro (Can hold 15kg vertically apparently?!) and a zip tie from keychain onto tow hook as insurance as well as to stop it from rattling. This was the only angle I tried so it is looking slightly off right of the car. Anyway let me know what you think video quality wise. I think it's an absolute steal at that price! Also think the car sounds great, specially when I blip the throttle to rev match on downshifts

Thanks for the comment Yeah the velcro seems to deal with the vibration fine. I was really impressed with the camera's ability to deal with wind noise at high speed! Also the quality is infact better than that it just gets oddly compressed when uploaded on youtube. I hope that I'll make it to six hills this thursday but realistically I have loads of coursework I have to do as well as bits to the car (Rear wheels still not painted!) so may be a couple more thursdays yet (got exams in a week or so )
