Well ive got a problem, i was on my back from Burton and i went to put my footdown in 3rd gear and once it hit around 3000 revs it just started revving and there was no power for around 3 seconds and then the revs drop down and it starts putting power down again. I came home let it cool down and took it out around the block again but its still doing it. Dont have a clue whats wrong with it help please??

could be the start of the lambda sensor going, getting plugged in on a diagnostic and it'll show up if theres any fault codes!

I'd say clutch most definately. The way to check for clutch wear is to put your car in 5th gear at a slow speed. Plant the accelerator. If the revs rise but the car doesn't gain speed, your clutch is on its way out. Get it changed ASAP as they tend to go without warning. It's the fiesta i take it? Dash cars is your best bet, doubt it'll be a cheap job though. I'd have a go at it for you if i wasn't so busy sorting my own cars out at the minute, got a head gasket to change at the minute

Clutch could have oil on it.
If the cars in gear, and the revs are rising but the car is not gaining speed, then the clutch is slipping.
Either that or your cable isn't adjusted properly and the clutch isn't engaging properly.
