Due to a change in circumstances I have my Panther Black Ford Puma (LUX Pack) for sale...
Tax – November 2010
MOT – December 2010
I have owned the car for nearly 2 years now, whilst in my ownership I have looked after the car and had the major components changed and maintained. It is well known on two Ford Puma Forums and has been to various shows with myself, all of the show plaques and memorabilia will be sold with the car.
Cambelt, Water Pump and Rocker Cover Gasket change – June 2009
Clutch, Hydraulic Slave Cylinder and Bearing replaced – April 2009
Lower Front Wishbones – November 2009
Other mechanical replacements include:
Alternator replaced – March 2010
Auxiliary Drive Belt – March 2010
Powerflex ARB Bushes, Front lower Wishbone bushes – November 2009
FRP (Uprated – Ford Racing Puma) Lower rear wishbone bushes – November 2009
Denso Iridium Spark Plugs – April 2010
MAF cleaned – June 2009
The car also has upgraded brakes (mondeo mk3 300mm) which have proven to me to be a very worthwhile upgrade with the larger discs and also has mintex pads.
For the majority of the above I have receipts for, other parts have been replaced at friends garages or I have done myself – I can give the number of the fellow who changed my clutch and cambelt if necessary.
I have used the car as a daily driver for the time I have owned it and apart from the wear and tear of an 11 year old car it has done me very well.
The mileage is 104,000 (the dials will state different as I had these changed to indiglo dials January 2009 so it stats a lower mileage)
Cosmetic modifications include
Rear Spoiler with 3rd brake light
Smoked Side Repeaters
Sprayed Front Grilles
Sun strip with logo
Puma badges - replace Ford
Puma logos - mirrors and rear bumper
Indiglo Dials
LED Sidelights
Xenon Headlights - dipped and main beam
LED number plate bulbs
LED interior bulb (white)
Smoked Rear Tail Lights - I have a set of standard rear lights if the buyer requires these instead
Sprayed plastic interior
Puma Logo floor mats
Calipers painted
Brake Drums painted
In July 2009 I spent a good 30 hours cleaning up the engine bay as it was very dusty and causing a few airflow problems, these have all been sorted now and show in the pictures.
Bad Points:
The rear arches, unfortunately have the common problem of rust around the lip, a lot of Ford Puma’s suffer with this
The Hand brake cable needs adjustment as does the gear linkage
The carpet has come away from the body work on the drivers side but a small piece of plastic stapled to the carpet can solve this
I also have a brand new boxed set of rear brake shoes and cylinders to go with the car.
The car is located in Mountsorrel, Loughborough and is available for viewing immediately as I require a quick sale.
Offers of around 1300 will be considered .
How it will look after changing the lights (obviously with the ring sticker still on )
Tis now on Ebay and Piston heads.. fingers crossed for a quick sale
Thanks for Looking
