Hey guys, as most of you know by now i have got myself a new escort ;D its a 1.8 white 3dr with only 55,000 on the clock it was completly standard when i brought her, this is how she looked after a session down tom's unit quick picture of the two escorts together ;D after a couple of hours out on my drive i had her looking like this so in summary so far i have fitted: Exterior: - 17" alloys - RS2000 front brakes - Powerflow cat back exhaust - Front strut brace - Black lexus rear lights - Custom RS2000 bonnet - Bonnet rasiers - Chrome induction pipe - Induction kit Interior: - White heater dials - 300W fusion sub - 450W fusion amp - Sony head unit Right now its time for the important stuff . . . the future plans ;D - fit black angel eye headlights - fit De-cat pipe - fit lagunna vented splitter - fit smoked side indicaters - De-badge and De-door strip - fit green rover cover - fit chrome manifold cover - Custom green silicone induction hoses from Graham Goode Racing - Green cottom air filter - Rear strut brace - 3 point harnesses - Remove rear seats - ST24 rear bumper - M3 style side skirts - Coilovers I've got a couple more things planned but we'll see how it goes these that lot first All comments welcome and if anyone wants to lend a hand feel free ;D

leave the st bumper off it... i looks so much better with out, i just makes the back of the car look way to heavy and low, keep the bodywork standard and looking clean, if anything just put some of the RS2000/GTI bumper trims and side skirts on it!
spend money on getting some more power out of that 1.8 lump!! cams and 4 branch!

Ive been on a rolling road day today with EscortEvolution at Street Racer, my 1.8 zetec produced 121 BHP and 156 Nm of torque, as standard is should have 114 BHP so im very happy with that ;D UPDATE i have fitted the custom silicones from Graham Goode Racing :thumb: i have also fitted the new rear strut brace, thanks to Dave and his best friend . . . . the leather mallet ;D plans for the next week or four -fit new green cottom air filter (when it arrives bloody post man) -fit de-cat pipe -fit angel eye headlights -fit lagunna splitter -de-badge -de-bump strips All comments welcome

Wow that's an awesome result! Is that with a cat and only the backbox and the (as you said) too small filter? If so would be good to see how it changes with the decat and larger (right sized) filter as surely the only way is up? It's quicker than my mx5

cheers guys, yeah that result is with the cat still on (even the de-cat pipe is on the back seat ) and the powerflow cat back exhaust (which is the quietest exhaust ever). my new green cotton filter arrived about an hour ago so i'll pop out and fit it in abit, its massive compare to my old K&N lol im thinking about fitting the 40mm springs of my old silver one now cus it does look like a tractor

Ive just bin out to fit my new green cottom filter new filter compared to the old 1.6 K&N ive been running for the last couple of weeks just need to sort out a cool air feed for it now ;D

;D UPDATE ;D long time coming but i have final got round to updating this thread couple of things have changed since the last post, i have fitted: - De-cat pipe - Black angel eye headlights - Front laguna splitter - Smoked side indicators - De-badges the rear - De-bumper striped the sides (pics coming soon) - Removed rear seats - Fitted black sparco 3 point harnesses (cheers Dave) right times for some pics Will get some more pics soon and before ANYONE says anything YES I NO IT NEED LOWERING!!! im saving the pennys for coilovers as we speak All comments welcome as usual
