As most of you kno i blew up my gearbox..... what it was down to was ither sum bad workmanship last time i had new internals fitted about 20thou miles ago...they may have dun a hell of a lot og millage on original barings or it could of been the racing and ware n tear! a bit of both id say......... Anyway it gave up life two weeks ago and thank god i had already bought a new box with 25thou miles on, new uprated barings with steal cages a lightened flywheel and organic race clutch!!!! All of this was kindly fitted by chris evolution tuning industries!!! here are sum pics of the work caried out!!! The hole in the box!! size of a two pence peice....... these are the barings and the peice of the casing!! this is my lightend flywheel!! uprated barings goin into dif!! Box all back together!!! flywheel and clutch fitted to car!!! it is now all back on and back on road! and my god its a million times better!! exceleration is qucker and my ratios are now correct again!! just need to get it on quarter mile at pod to c if i can beat my time!!! Id like to thank chris for doing it for me and the help pete gave as well lol enjoy!!!!

How much power has this car got then? Seems a lot of money spent on a box imo unless you're running large power. However aren't the standard gboxs on corsa's breaking all the time on standard power anyway? Guess if you plan on keeping the car for a while it makes sense to future proof it.

Liam at PVS did you see the stand that were selling the uprated pistons. They had 1.8's there but cudnt find you to tell you. I was with nigel and the boys.
