Just thought i'd post up to say it was great to see some of your members return to Loughborough cruise last night.
This is a post taken from our forum, it is in reply to the question "was last night any good?"
"Like a normal wednesday night meet we were all gathered in the middle of the car park. A fair few people had already turned up before our usual meeting time. These included alot of saxo's and corsa's (of which one saxo had "nothing on a c2") and one half decent tatty looking evo. We were all chatting as per usual to be interupted by loud music and constant revving of 1.2 engines and other people wheel spinning and attempting burnouts - i think they all failed on that one from what I saw.
Then after hour and a half or so half of CCC's regulars decided to have a very loud nosey round, coming in together (i'd say 5 or 6 of them) revving and popping - this popping was at considerable volume. Throughout there time being at halfords they did not discontinue there disturbing behaviour until they left at 10.30ish, again wheelspinning and popping and banging, which I'm sure pissed local neighbours off. Lough was swarming with police last night mainly around KFC area, I saw 4 police cars whilst commuting from my home to halfords. There was one CCC member in particular, Jason Lovett (I have changed his name to protect his identity  ) who currently drives a 106 gti felt the need to limit his vehicle constantly whilst driving around the car park, popping included. I am not surprised they had "CCC Support Vehicle" there, just incase one of them blew their little rot box up - CCC Support vehicle driven by Mr. Peter Hallam, again name changed  . If you do not rememeber this muddy piece of poo he calls transport it's the one who thinks its a good idea to drive up those funny post things and leave it there whilst others take pictures of this incredible stunt! ^_^ - I am very impressed.
After attempting to sabatage the meet mr. Lovett and a few others decided to leave, but yet to return minutes later revving and popping again. Obviously after thrashing his car down derby road for a few seconds. Mr. Hallam was also driving slightly erraticaly (sp) around the car park, hitting speed bumps at at least 15-20mph. While showing off his rev limiter!"
So i take it this is what your meets at 6 hills are like is it?
No? Thought not!
