cheers, i've got a couple of factory option rear spats to go on the back soon and a red front rocker cover but other than that i'm not going to go crazy with it styling wise.
Need to get the power up, going to dyno it in August to see what its making but I want an extra 50bhp really and that means nitrous.

Does need bigger brakes although with 4 wheel ABS the stockers do the job. I can upgrade to Mazda6 283mm brakes with little problems so once I up the power they will be next.
Considering the miles she runs very sweet. The KL engine in these is good for high miles and doesnt have a lot of issues, even the hydraulic lifters can be flushed easily and the rings/valve seals dont tend to go. Has got a good history, needs the cambelt doing soon but the engine is non-interferance so even if it goes the pistons wont be kissing the valves.
You really have to drive one to fall in love with it. The bhp may not be huge but the way it changes gear and pulls for a n/a engine is awesome. Quick as a Civic type R and others but its no scooby beater.
Parts are cheap cause the chassis, engine and suspension are the same as a (yuk) Ford Probe.

Use Wynns professional HLA treatment, it works a treat. Dont get the regular stuff, you want the pro stuff. Well I finally got her back today so gave her a quick clean and took some pics. Over the last few days i've fitted the LSi side pods, braided brake hoses all round, polished inlet manifold, polished front cover, red rear cover, red ht leads, uprated FPR, Mazdaspeed wheel and boss and chrome strut top covers. Couldnt fot the stainless manifolds and downpipes so they are up for sale (see mazda market). Before after Strut top covers, £3 each ASDA soap dishes! Side pods Steering wheel After a quick clean. I will be compound polishing it tomorrow then putting on some resin polish.

i'm a bit shocked how good the transformation was and it was fairly cheap too. The IM and front cover cost me £25, the soap dishes were £6, can of turtlewax tyre shine £5, red ht leads £30, Uprated fuel pressure regulator £24 and adaptor £21. total spend £111
Got a mirror polished fuse box cover, brake reservoir cover and a few other bits coming soon too.
