sorry i haven't updated this in a while, i've been busy preparing for exams which start on monday. I've now got the full version of centrafuse nav installed and got all of the important features up and working. The features that still aren't working include OBDII app, ipod connection, XM radio and normal radio. Unfortunately the centrafuse software doesn't support a MUTII connection from the OBD, but hopefully that something I can work on with Hamish (evoscan). As to the other features, i don't need an ipod or radio as i already have over 7000 songs on the hard drive. Here are a few pics of Centrafuse and some of its apps. Windows desktop Centrafuse boot screen Centrafuse playlist Centrafuse playlist vizualisation Music library Library search tool Video library Satnav Nearest petrol station search with dial function (I didn't know what the dial button did first time so i pressed it and it started calling sainsburies for me). This search can also be used for hotels and restaurants. Handsfree phone interaction screen (connected via bluetooth). Note the icons at the top telling you that the phone is connected, the phones signal strength and battery level. Picture library Weather information thats it for the moment, i'll be working on the race data side from now on. That side of the project will be started around feb the 7th with a test day for just engine data recording on the 8th at snetterton; I plan to have GPS, g-force, video and OBD hopefully integrated into one display by early april so this thread may go a bit quiet while I work on that. If I have anything interesting to post up I will. Thanks to everyone for their supportive comments and all I can say is "watch this space".

I've got the race cam sorted now, here's a video from a few weeks ago at snetterton.
The vid was recorded straight to the PCs hard drive ....also a quick external vid which I love as I never get to hear my car from the outside
The guy I'm working with on the software is working on the GPS mapping while i'm waiting for some parts to be delivered from the US which I'll use to build the G-force/Gyro sensor.
p.s. Even tho I spend the whole night standing over with Sim and Sammie i'm not being anti-social, your all welcome to come over and have a play with/chat about the system. During the summer it's likely i'll be working with Incar Electronix and the system will be marketed for about £2000
